In case you missed it on Monday, we shared a short video from Terri Savelle Foy about how physical messes can drain your energy and steal your peace. It’s soooo practical we just had to share some of the highlights!
Ten Steps to Clearing the Clutter:
1. Make a list of all the messes in your home.
Write them all down and make a list of what needs to be done.
2. Always start with the most important room.
3. Start with the visible messes.
4. Find a place for everything.
5. Make decisions to de-clutter. Give it, sell it or trash it!
6. Give yourself 20 minutes.
7. Set new standards.
8. Communicate your vision for organization. Get everyone on board.
9. Put it away now. If it can be done in one minute or less, do it!
10. Create a routine.
