In case you missed Monday’s blog, we had the beautiful Sarah Hart Pearsons, sharing “All About the Heart.” SUCH a refreshing word about how “heart conditions” spiritually and emotionally can manifest in our physical bodies.
1. Are there any heart “breaks” you’ve experienced in your life? Are there any places in your heart that have maybe grown hard or cold over time?
2. Do you see any places where unforgiveness, disappointment, rejection, etc. is affecting your body?
3. What is the Word you need to keep in your heart to allow Jesus to heal that place?
“My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” {Prov. 4:20-22}
We encourage you to pray this with us and pour out your heart to Jesus, the Healer of all hearts and bodies:
“Lord, I make my heart open and tender before You now. I ask You to let Your healing love wash over me and heal every hurtful memory, and I choose to forgive those who have hurt me. I receive Your love shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit {Romans 5:5}, filling the height, the width, the length, and the depth of my heart. Your perfect love is forcing fear out of me (1 John 4:18) and I am anchored and secure in You.”
We believe that the Lord is bringing us all to a place of wholeness in Him as we allow Him to restore our spirit, mind and body.
